Field trips include:

• Boat transportation to the island from Wrightsville Beach or Wilmington with USCG certified captain
• Environmental marsh and island education taught by an AIG certified teacher with 15 years of experience. Topics include food webs, energy transfer within trophic levels, and producer/consumer/decomposer interactions, leveled for your age group
• Recreational activities such as kayaking, crabbing, fishing, and swimming
• Free access to project materials built by an
• AIG certified teacher 

We specialize in smaller field trip groups, such as homeschool groups!

• Groups sizes from 4 to 24
• All field trips are 3-4 hours
• Trips can be customized for your group!  Your trip can be all recreation, all education, or a mix of the two!
• Rates from $40 per student
