Coastal Ecosystem Field Trips

Let us get your students outside for a day of learning and FUN!

Field trips include:

Boat transportation to the island from Wrightsville Beach or Wilmington with USCG certified captain
Environmental marsh and island education taught by an AIG certified teacher with 15 years of experience. Topics include food webs, energy transfer within trophic levels, and producer/consumer/decomposer interactions, leveled for your age group
Recreational activities such as kayaking, crabbing, fishing, and swimming
Free access to project materials built by an AIG certified teacher (upon request)

Field trips include:

Environmental marsh and island education taught by an AIG certified teacher with 15 years of experience. Topics include food webs, energy transfer within trophic levels, and producer/consumer/decomposer interactions, leveled for your age group
Activities include hiking, crabbing, marsh exploration, and shelling
Free access to project materials built by an AIG certified teacher (upon request)
